The Sundarbans Mangrove Forest is the largest mangrove forest in the world. Sundarbans Forest is the world’s largest home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. The forest is crisscrossed by numerous rivers, creeks, and canals which are home to estuarine crocodiles and dolphins. A beautiful animal, the spotted deer, is another attraction of the Sundarbans.

Day 01: Arrival in Dhaka

Meet on arrival at Dhaka International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Today's sightseeing tour includes the four hundred-year-old Mogul Fort, Lalbag Kella. The Tomb of Paribibi inside the fort is a remarkable blend of Mogul and Persian architecture.

The tour is continuous to the Dhakeswari Temple first built in the 12th century AD. Next comes Curzon Hall Complex - a blend of colonial and indigenous architecture. Opposite the Curzon Hall Complex stands a more than 100-year-old massive governor house, now being used by the Department of Justice. And then "Sangsad Bhaban' - the Parliament House, one of the wonders of the modern architecture of the world. Board on the paddle steamer in the late afternoon. Overnight on the paddle steamer.

Day 02: Dhaka - Mongla - Sundarbans Forest.

After about 24 hours of a journey through rivers, which gives a unique opportunity to enjoy the lush green scenic beauty of riverine Bangladesh, arrive in the late afternoon at Mongla and board the tourist boat for the journey to the forest. Proceed toward the forest through numerous mighty rivers, narrow canals, and creeks. Besides the Royal Bengal Tiger, the forest is home to spotted and barking deer, wild boar, rhesus monkeys, estuarine crocodiles, otters, dolphins, birds, etc.

The tigers of the Sundarbans Forest are the most ferocious, the most shrewd, and evasive animals on earth. The migratory Himalayan bees produce more than one hundred tons of honey every year in the Sundarbans. More than 30 unique species of mangrove plants and ferns grow in this forest.

Day 03: Overnight on the Boat. Kochikhali

Arrive at Kochikhali Forest Station early in the morning. In the morning trekking through the forest by country boat; after breakfast trekking afoot in the forest. In the afternoon leave Kochikhali for Kotka. Arrive at Kotka in the late evening. Overnight on the boat.

Day 04: Kotka – Mongla

Early in the morning trekking through the forest by country boat; after breakfast trekking afoot through the forest up to the beach. This trekking of about three kilometers through the grassland and forest, which ends at a virgin sea beach, is an experience of a lifetime for those who really love nature. Leave Kotka for Mongla in the evening. Overnight on a boat.

Day 05: Mongla – Dhaka

Rive Mongla early in the morning. And leave Mongla for Dhaka by road (8-hour drive), or drive to Jessore Airport (2 and half hours drive) and fly back to Dhaka (half an hour flight). Transfer to Dhaka International Airport if the return flight is on the same day, if not, overnight in a hotel.

Day 06: Departure

This day, transfer to Dhaka International Airport.
