Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh is not only known to the outside world as one of the most densely populated city but also a city with a much-hidden treasure in the form of several architectural monuments which dates back as far as the Mughal period. Walking through the alleys of the old Dhaka, and exploring the historic monuments such as Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Manzil, Sadarghat (riverfront), Shakharia Bazar, Armenian Church, and Star Mosque is an amazing experience.

Other than these historic establishments, Dhaka also has several museums to represent the history and glory of Bangladesh. A visit to the National Museum or the Liberation War Museum will increase the understanding of a tourist of the culture and history of this country.

Another important architectural establishment of Dhaka city is the National Assembly Building or the Parliament Building. Designed by a world-renowned American architect, Louis Kahn, this building is arguably the most notable modern building in Bangladesh.

Itinerary

Day 1: Receive & Welcome

Arrive at Dhaka Airport. Reception and transfer to Hotel /Guest House. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Full-Day City Sightseeing

Breakfast at a hotel/ restaurant and start for city sightseeing covering Sadarghata Terminal, Pink Palace, Dhakeshawari Hindu Temple, Lalbag Mughal Fort, Curzon Hall, Central Shahid Minar, and the distinctive Notational Parliament Building. After lunch drive to Savar to visit National Memorial and the Brass Metal works at Dhanmarai (If time permits). Overnight at the hotel.

Day3: Departure

Check out the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure.
