Patenga Sea-Beach
Patenga Sea-beach is located at the estuary of the Karnaphuli River and the Bay of Bengal. This sea-beach is at a distance of about 20 km from Chittagong town. On the way to Patenga from Chittagong town, you will see big factories, Marine Academy, and the Karnaphuli River. Shah Amanat (R) International Airport and the Naval Base BNS Isakhan are situated near Patenga.
Apart from these, many jetties of Chittagong are here. The contrast between the water of the Karnaphuli and that of the Bay of Bengal in their estuary is evidently vivid and clear. At night from the beach of the naval academy on the bank of the Karnaphuli River, one can enjoy the beauty of the estuary.
