Start from Dhaka in the early morning for Moinamoti which is about 114 km southeast of Dhaka and well connected by road the journey will take two and a half hours. On arrival, you will visit “War Cemetery” where you can see the graveyard of the soldiers who died on the Myanmar front during World War 2. Drive to the Archeological camp where the Salbon Vihar and the Museum are located. Excavated Buddhist remains of the 8th/9th century are dotted
Along the north–south-running Lalmai – Moinamoti – hill range.
From here the following adjacent sites may also be visited: Ananda Vihar, Charpatra Mura, Itakhola Mura, Rupban Mura, Kutila Mura, and Triratna Stupa. Among these, the Ananda Vihara, the Charpatra Mura, and the Kutila Mura are situated within the Moinamoti Cantonment therefore, prior permission of the cantonment authorities is necessary for the visit. After lunch at the Miami restaurant, we will drive back to Dhaka.
