Historic Miabari Mosque
This Mosque is situated at Uttar Karapur village of Barisal Sadar. The Mosque which is constructed in a beautiful flower-like design has three domes and eight minerals. It is guessed that the benevolent Zamindar of Umedpur and Hayat Mahmud, a rebel against the English founded this mosque in the 18th century outside the mosque there is a wide staircase to climb the top floor of the mosque built on a high basement. Recently, it has been repaired and painted. As a result, it has lost most of its old features. There lies a large pond on the east of the Karapur Mia Bari.
